Plastic Free Soap Bar Reviews
When I thought of soap before making the swap I would remember the smell of horrid Dove bars being left in a puddle next to the taps as a child!
Nowadays you can get bars with so many natural and non toxic ingredients, they smell amazing and we can look after them by keeping them dry so they last longer!
I first switched to Lush bars, Honey I Washed My Hair (SHAMPOO) and Jungle (CONDITIONER) which together work really well. The shampoo bar really washes your hair and lathers up amazingly, definitely 5*s! The conditioner is also awesome, with a good rinse and comb out it leaves my hair feeling like I've just used a bottled conditioner! #lush #nakedbars #plasticfree
Of course using bars on your hair takes getting use to but it doesn't take long if you're open to new things!
FREINDS OF GAIA
I was recently given bars to try from my local plastic free store Friends Of Gaia @brightonfrog I am using Ice Ice Baby (SHAMPOO) and Spring Green (BODY BAR).
The shampoo bar lathers up perfectly and also the bar dries out really quickly (yay) my hair feels really soft and beautifully clean after using! The body bar is also really fab and smells amazing! These two bars will last a good while and come with plastic free packaging and labels, I love them! 5*s! #supportyourlocal #brightonfrog #plasticfreestore
Always remember to support your local shops and health stores!
Another first use was soap bars by CONCHUS (about life) a company I found on Instagram. I really love watching the progress of the soap being made by hand on their stories and also love that they are all made in the Uk! Their bars are all beautiful and have a lovely calm sent! 5*s! #conchusaboutlife #soapbars #madeintheuk
Hope you check out all these brands and I hope you make the switch to use bars and help cut down on plastic!
